Over the last 18 years’, he has worked within and specialised in public sector mutual risk products, insurance and risk management. He has a deep understanding of public sector risk management and risk financing across local governments and state/territory agencies in WA and NT.

In 2023, James was appointed CEO of LGIS, a member owned mutual indemnity scheme for WA local government, and is committed to working together with members to deliver innovative and tailored solutions for local government.
