JCS was established in New York since 1985, JCS has built a network that extends to Europe and Asia and shifted its head offices to Tokyo in 2006. The trilateral JCS framework comprising JCS U.S., JCS EMEA, and JCS Asia provides services to Japan-based multinational corporations around the world.

JCS has approximately 500 specialists in countries around the world, and Japanese personnel have been posted and a framework for Japanese-language services have been created in all major cities. Specialists familiar with Japanese and local business practices and insurance regulations provide tailor-made solutions to the risks faced by the overseas subsidiaries of Japanese multinational corporations in both Japanese and local languages. JCS Asia places personnel in Asia including Japan and provides services for Japanese companies in Asia. We are expanding the service utilizing JCS network by arranging staff who can correspond to Japanese language in Singapore, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Taipei, Jakarta, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi, Gurgaon, Hong Kong and Manila.

Japan Client Services (JCS) USA was established in New York in 1985 as the first specialty practice among insurance brokers to serve the unique needs of Japanese multinationals operating in the U.S. JCS USA has teams in nine major cities including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, Atlanta and Columbus, and is staffed by over 130 professionals including Japanese nationals who are bilingual and have experience in Japan’s insurance industry. JCS USA serves many well-known midsize and large Japanese multinational companies in the US including the major trading companies and financial institutions, and clients in the automobile, chemical, life sciences and consumer electronics sectors among others.

The risk environment in the U.S. is quite different from that in Japan. Japanese companies in the U.S. face different business risks, legal systems, regulatory requirements and approaches to corporate governance. Japan Client Services Europe, Middle East and Africa

JCS Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) has placed Japanese affiliated personnel in over 30 European, Middle Eastern and African cities and Japanese personnel in London, Dusseldorf and Amsterdam.

JCS EMEA conducts risk management of Japanese companies entering Europe, Middle East and Africa, and constructs and arranges insurance programs.

There are specific risks in Europe including response to the EU new regulation in various areas, sales risks in the mature EU market, environmental risks, and corporate management focused on CSR.

JCS EMEA specialists who are familiar with business practices and insurance business laws of each European countries are conducting risk consulting with utilizing benchmarking effectively in Europe to respond to specific risks.

In addition to it, we have implemented a lot of pan-European insurance programs which are constructed and operated to reduce risk cost and have a lot of case studies. Currently JCS EMEA cooperates with the JCS global network and provides services to more than 600 Japanese multinationals.
