What Food and Beverage Companies Need to Know About FSMA Enforcement
The Food Safety and Modernization Act (FSMA) was signed into law in 2011, but some of its regulations are only now becoming enforceable. The FSMA amended the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, and instructed the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to implement rules to ensure that US food products are safe. - Key provisions of the FSMA, including the Foreign Supplier Verification Program and Hazard Analysis and Risk Preventive Controls, and how they apply to food and beverage companies.
- How the FDA is enforcing the FSMA.
- How organizations can mitigate food safety risks and comply with the FSMA.
