Thomas Fuhrman Joins Marsh Risk Consulting as Managing Director, Cyber Security Consulting and Risk Advisory Services

Marsh, a global leader in insurance broking and risk management, announced today that Thomas Fuhrman, a recognized leader in cyber security, has joined the company’s Marsh Risk Consulting (MRC) unit as managing director for cyber security consulting. In this newly-created position, he will be based in Washington D.C. and responsible for expanding MRC’s cyber risk consulting capabilities and service delivery in North American and international markets.

Prior to joining Marsh, Mr. Fuhrman was president of Delta Risk, a specialized cyber security consultancy focused on enterprise cyber security strategy, risk management, and training. Earlier, he was a senior vice president and partner at Booz Allen Hamilton where he led a $100 million cyber security and technology portfolio. He brings more than 20 years of experience in effectively building and leading cyber security consulting practices in both commercial and government markets. Mr. Fuhrman is the author of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) publication CYBERNATION: The American Infrastructure in the Information Age, and holds a patent for an automatic digital information acquisition system.
