Marsh Appoints Robert Bauer As US Sharing Economy and Mobility Practice Leader

Marsh, a global leader in insurance broking and innovative risk management solutions, announced today that Robert Bauer has joined the firm to lead its US Sharing Economy & Mobility Practice. In this role, Mr. Bauer will focus on developing and delivering industry-leading products and services to companies operating in the new economy, working closely with experts across Marsh, including Marsh’s Digital, Data & Analytics team.
Mr. Bauer joins Marsh from AIG where he most recently served as General Insurance Head of Innovation and its Sharing Economy Group. He is based in San Francisco, California, and reports to Jeffrey Alpaugh, Growth & Industry Leader for Marsh’s US and Canada division.
