Risk & Insurance Magazine® Honors 32 Marsh and Mercer Colleagues With Power Broker® Awards
New York | February 29, 2016
Marsh, a global leader in insurance broking and risk management, and Mercer, a global consulting leader in talent, health, retirement, and investments, today announced that Risk & Insurance® magazine named 32 Marsh and Mercer colleagues as Power Broker® winners and finalists in its annual issue recognizing brokers who provide outstanding risk management advice and customer service. Marsh and Mercer are operating companies of Marsh & McLennan Companies (NYSE: MMC).
Representing 18 industries, 25 Marsh professionals and one Mercer colleague were recognized as 2016 Power Broker® winners. Six Marsh colleagues were named finalists.
“I congratulate all of our colleagues who have been named Power Broker® winners and finalists,” said Robert Bentley, president of Marsh’s US and Canada Division. “Each of the winners is truly deserving of recognition. The depth of knowledge, expertise, relationships and industry advocacy represented by the group differentiates Marsh and the value we deliver to our clients.”
The Power Broker® awards are based on nominations provided by brokers and risk managers as judged by separate panels of risk managers and Risk & Insurance® journalists for each industry segment. Hundreds of risk managers were interviewed in the process of identifying, soliciting, evaluating, and judging the final nominations. Individuals were judged primarily on their creativity in solving risk-related problems during 2015, their industry knowledge, and their high level of client service.
