David Fuhrman Joins Marsh as West Zone Leader

Marsh, a leading insurance broker and risk advisor, and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. (NYSE: MMC), announced today that David Fuhrman is joining the firm to lead its West Zone effective immediately. David Fuhrman will be responsible for ensuring that Marsh delivers its world-class risk advisory and strategic services to the firm’s growing client base across the Western region of the US.

David Fuhrman will be based in Marsh’s Los Angeles office, and will report to Rob Bentley, president of Marsh’s US and Canada Division. A well-known insurance industry executive, David brings decades of management experience and client relationships, having served in numerous local and regional leadership roles in the western United States, including 18 years with Marsh earlier in his career.

Most recently, David served as Willis’ national partner for the California Region. An active leader in the southern California business and philanthropic communities, David will be a welcome addition to our industry-leading West Zone client operations.

John Fuhrman Named Pacific South Partnership Leader

In connection with this leadership appointment, Marsh also announced that John Fuhrman is joining the firm effective immediately to lead its Pacific South Partnership and its four offices in Irvine, California; Los Angeles, California; Phoenix, Arizona; and San Diego, California.

In this role, John Fuhrman, who will report to David, will be responsible for supporting clients in a variety of industries throughout the Pacific South Partnership.

John Fuhrman will be based in Marsh’s Irvine, California, office. A well-known industry leader, John has held a range of management roles within the industry, including at Marsh earlier in his career. Most recently, John was a managing director with responsibility for Willis’ Orange County, California operations.
