Susan A. Stone 

General Counsel

Susan Stone is general counsel of Marsh LLC, one of the operating companies owned by Marsh & McLennan Companies, and is a member of the Marsh executive committee. Susan joined Marsh as general counsel on February 15, 2017. Prior to joining Marsh, Susan practiced law at Sidley Austin, LLP for 27 years, where she served as a member of the executive committee and head of the firm’s insurance practice. Earlier in her career, she worked as a federal prosecutor. Susan graduated summa cum laude from Yale University and cum laude from Harvard Law School.
