Risk & Insurance Magazine honors 37 Marsh and Mercer colleagues with Power Broker awards

Marsh, a global leader in insurance broking and risk management, and Mercer, a global consulting leader in talent, health, retirement, and investments, today announced that Risk & Insurance® magazine named 37 Marsh and Mercer colleagues as Power Broker® winners and finalists in its annual issue recognizing the industry’s best for their innovation and commitment to delivering superior client service and solutions.
Representing 18 industries 32 Marsh professionals were recognized as 2015 Power Broker® winners, including one colleague receiving the Responsibility Leader® designation, which recognizes brokers who devote their time and energy to their community and profession, in addition to achieving professional excellence. Four Marsh colleagues and one Mercer professional were named finalists. Of the winners and finalists, 12 were placed in the “Under-40” category.

The Power Broker® awards are based on nominations provided by brokers and risk managers as judged by separate panels of risk managers and Risk & Insurance® journalists for each industry segment. Hundreds of risk managers were interviewed in the process of identifying, soliciting, evaluating, and judging the final nominations. Individuals were judged primarily on their creativity in solving risk-related problems during 2014, their industry knowledge, and their high level of client service.
