Marsh appoints Carolina Klint CEO of Marsh’s European north-west region

Marsh, a global leader in insurance broking and innovative risk management solutions, today announced that it had appointed Carolina Klint as Chief Executive Officer of its newly created European North-West region, which comprises Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway and Sweden. She will be based in Stockholm and report to Flavio Piccolomini, CEO of Marsh Continental Europe, Middle East and Africa.
In her role, Ms. Klint will focus on driving client value by delivering Marsh’s world-class risk advisory and strategic services to the firm’s growing client base in the region.
Ms. Klint joins Marsh from AIG and brings over 15 years of international and leadership experience to the role. Since 2003, she has held several senior positions within AIG, most recently as President of its U.S. South Zone, responsible for AIG’s Commercial Business in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. Previously, Ms. Klint was President of the U.S. Southeast Zone and Country General Manager of AIG in Sweden.

In December 2013, Ms. Klint was named honoree for Business Insurance magazine's Women to Watch. She is currently serving on the Business Insurance 2017 Women to Watch Advisory Board as well as the Business Insurance 2017 EMEA Women to Watch Advisory Board.
