Agfa HealthCare Damage Assistance Program
Overview
With DAsP insurance as an add-on to your DR services package or portable DR detector warranty extension, you can avoid unexpected, high repair or replacement costs. A fixed annual fee and minimal co-pay provide you the peace of mind of knowing you can depend on your portable detector – with no costly surprises.
Eligibility
DAsP insurance coverage may be purchased as an add-on to an Agfa HealthCare Service Maintenance Agreement at the time of purchase acquisition. If an insured panel is damaged and needs replacing, you can either continue the existing coverage on the replacement panel or purchase the coverage for a new 5 year term. The detector warranty does not include DAsP insurance coverage. DAsP coverage is an optional, but highly recommended, separate purchase that includes Technical Phone Support and on-site labor and travel for detector support only.
Property Covered
The DAsP program offers coverage for direct physical loss caused by a covered peril to your mobile medical equipment while in your care, custody, or control. Mobile medical equipment means diagnostic medical equipment designed or installed to be moved and used from location to location.
Diagnostic medical equipment includes, but is not limited to, ultrasound equipment, X-ray equipment, CAT scanners, and MRI scanners. – PER THE POLICY
