Marsh Appoints Garrett Hanrahan Global Head of Aviation, Marsh JLT Speciality

Marsh, the world’s leading insurance broker and risk adviser, today announced the appointment of Garrett Hanrahan as Global Head of Aviation, Marsh JLT Specialty. Effective April 15th, Mr. Hanrahan will succeed Simon Harker who is retiring after 44 years in the industry. Based in Dallas, Mr. Hanrahan will report to Lucy Clarke, President, Marsh JLT Specialty.

In this role, Mr. Hanrahan oversees Marsh JLT Specialty’s Global Aviation Practice, which advises many of the world’s leading airlines, manufacturers, airports, and other leading industry players on their insurance and risk management programs. The Global Aviation Practice brings together more than 300 specialists in over 20 offices worldwide.

Mr. Hanrahan joined Marsh in 2013 and has extensive experience in the global aviation industry having worked within the sector for over 25 years, most recently as US Head of Aviation for Marsh JLT Specialty.
