Highlights and Insights from the Energy Industry Conference

Marsh's seventh Energy Industry conference (EIC) took place in Dubai on 6-8 March, 2018. This biennial conference, titled "Rebooting the Risk Agenda," brought together global industry leaders and key influencers to discuss the complex and evolving risks energy companies face today. 

The EIC conference remains the largest international energy risk gathering and has been going from strength to strength since the inaugural event in 2007. It was truly a global event, with more than 560 participants coming from some 50 countries, stretching from Chile to Australia. 

During our 2016 event one of the key talking points was the issues the oil industry faced as a result of the low oil price environment. But this year looked to the future, with themes around innovation dominating speaker agendas and conversations amongst our delegates.
