Marsh Named Captive Manager of the Year by Captive Review

Marsh is honored to have been named 2019 “Captive Manager of the Year – more than $1 Billion Gross Written Premium” by Captive Review. The annual US Captive Awards recognize and celebrate captive service providers that have outperformed their competitors and demonstrated the highest levels of excellence over the past 12 months.

Winners were selected by a panel of captive owners and captive service providers. Among  highlights over the last year, Marsh Captive Solutions:

• Completed the JLT acquisition, providing an expansion of talent, resources, and client relationships. Combined, Marsh Captive Solutions’ 1,450 captives under management write more than US$60 billion in premium and hold $120 billion in capital and surplus across 51 domiciles.
• Shifted focus to digitization, encompassing everything from assisting clients with blockchain matters, working with captive regulators on regulatory questions, developing proprietary technology such as Bluestream, and working with companies to offer insurance to their customers through software applications.
• Further invested in market-leading analytics to help owners make more informed decisions around captive formation and program enhancements.
